ABOUT KYLIE


Kylie Peters is a psychologist. She believes in facilitating others to achieve their fullest potential and move forward to where they would like to be. She utilises a holistic strength based approach to assist in developing skills and helping people find capabilities that they already had but couldn’t see.

Kylie has worked in community mental health in rural and remote settings, both in family therapy and adolescent teams and also in the private practice setting. Kylie has developed programs with dieticians and other clinicians for best practice in rural setting for families and young people experiencing eating disorders. Kylie is passionate about helping people improve their relationships with themselves, including building self-esteem, good self-care, body image, relationships with food and exercise and overall wellbeing. She has a very practical and applied approach to therapy. 

Kylie has over 10 years experience in Mental Health. She specialises in family therapy, eating disorders, trauma, acute care and equine therapy. Kylie is currently undertaking her Clinical Masters in Family Therapy.
